Lumos: Sun and Moon Tracker 2.2.8

Lumos is a powerful and user-friendly tool that accurately predicts the position of the sun and moon at any time, on any day, and in any location. With a range of features designed to assist photographers, event planners, and solar panel installers, keeping track of the sun and moon has never been easier!

Lumos is comprised of six main modules:

1. The augmented reality view utilizes AR technology to visually project past, present, or future sun and moon positions (including moon phases!) onto your surroundings. This feature provides an invaluable visualization tool for all your planning needs.
2. The map view overlays the sun and moon positions onto a map of the specified location for a given time. This feature allows users to make plans and preparations remotely.
3. The Street View mode, exclusive to Lumos Pro users, functions similarly to the AR view but utilizes Google Street View to provide users with sun and moon positions for off-site locations.
4. The calendar view displays a simple list of rise/set times and moon phases throughout the year, providing users with an overview of celestial events. Tapping on a specific date reveals the detailed ephemeris for that day.
5. The notifications module enables users to receive notifications for significant solar and lunar events, such as dawn/dusk times, blue hour, golden hour, sunrise/set, lunar transit, and more (available with Lumos Pro).
6. The shadow length view calculates the exact length of a shadow cast by an object at a specified time and day. Users can visualize and measure the shadow's length both numerically and visually. Additionally, if the shadow length is known, users can even calculate the height of an object.

By purchasing Lumos Pro at an affordable one-time cost, users also gain access to the following features:

• Saving locations for future reference or offline use*
• Note-taking capabilities for saved locations, ensuring information is readily available for subsequent views

Please note that the map view and Street View presently do not support offline use.

It is important to note that the sun and moon positions calculated by Lumos are highly accurate, deviating only by a small fraction of a degree. However, as with any augmented reality application, the accuracy of the projection depends on the capabilities of the device being used. In the event of any inaccuracies, we recommend calibrating your device's compass and minimizing exposure to electromagnetic interferences. Phone cases containing batteries are known to cause compass issues. Additionally, our application provides a visual calibration tool to align projections with the current position of the sun.
